How To Renew Your License ?
One of the following three are required to renew your Coast Guard License:
- Show 360 days of operation since your last renewal. This means filling
out another application in which another Sea Service form is submitted.
- Attend a 1 day Refresher Course.
- Take a Coast Guard exam.
There is a one year grace period during which you may renew your license however,
you may not use your license during that time frame.
In most cases a physical and drug test is required.
Copy of your old license (front & back)
$95.00 check or money order made payable to U.S. Coast Guard.
You will not need to show proof of
First Aid & CPR to renew your license however, you must
have to have in your possession an up to date card for both.
